The Albert Lea Bus Company works with District #241 to ensure safe and quality transportation for your students.
Eligibility to ride the bus is determined by the distance between your student’s school of attendance and the primary address on file with Albert Lea Area Schools.
*K-5 students must be 1 mile or more away (home address) from their school of attendance.
*6-12 students must be 2 miles or more away (home address) from their school of attendance.
*Private contracts are available if your student doesn’t meet the eligibility.
*A student may have only one pick up location and one drop off location, they can be different from each other, but they must be the same location(s) each day. Transportation eligibility (listed above) is based upon the distance from the alternate location to the school of attendance.
